In THE WILD GOURMETS, two hunter-gatherers travel around the UK - attempting to live entirely off the land.
They say there's no such thing as a free lunch, but cook Thomasina Miers and writer and adventurer Guy Grieve disagree. Guy has survived nearly a year in the wilds of Alaska and knows how to eat to live. Tommi lives to eat and is a vociferous champion of local and seasonal food. They believe that the countryside isn't just picturesque, it's a rich larder just waiting to be unlocked, and in a bid to prove that wild food is better than any supermarket or Michelin starred restaurant, Tommi and Guy will travel across the UK demonstrating how to hunt, catch and forage for their supper.
