Capital City

CAPITAL CITY follows the fortunes of a close-knit team of young, high-flying dealers who work at Shane Longman, a London-based international bank. Hired for their particular blend of style, genius, and energy, they take risks every day -- and every risk is worth a million.

With all the money and glamour of high finance comes the relentless pressure to do well, pressure to pull off another deal before lunch, pressure to anticipate the market by a fraction of a second, and pressure not to let the team down when they’re relying on you. Away from the dealing room floor, the series also explores the characters’ personal lives, focusing on their daily fears, their loves, their friendships, and the sacrifices they must make for their careers.

In a world where big money rules the day, the atmosphere of excitement and tension is addictive, but it is not only the financial stakes that are high -- once the frenetic wheeling and dealing draws to a close, the traders private lives begin. They turn to each other for compassion, fun, and even romance...the lines between home and work often becoming dangerously blurred.
