AS TIME GOES BY REUNION SPECIALS SET TO AIR IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS SEASON

London, UK, 17 August 2005: As Time Goes By, the hit series starring Dame Judi
Dench and Geoffrey Palmer is back and better than ever with two all new reunion
specials produced by DLT Entertainment and its sister company, The Theatre of
From its initial production in
1992, through to its ninth series in 2002, As Time Goes By has remained a fan
favourite in the UK, the US and around the world.
The BBC is expected to unveil the new
specials on BBC ONE during their highly anticipated Christmas season line-up.
And in the US, PBS has announced they will be showcasing the two much in demands
specials on 14 December.
As fans will
surely want to add the latest specials to their home collections, the DVD
release will be quick to follow in several territories. DLT Entertainment has
already sold DVD rights to Acorn Video in the UK, PBS Video in North America and
ABC Video in Australia and New Zealand.
The new specials, written by Bob Larbey and
produced and directed by Sydney Lotterby, pick up some time after the ninth
series left off and reveal Jean Pargetter’s (Dench) great anticipation for
grandchildren much to husband Lionel’s (Palmer) dismay.
With son-in-law Alistair and daughter Judy
having problems things don’t look too promising especially when it’s left to
Lionel to convince Alistair to visit the doctor for some tests. But will Jean’s
dream of becoming a grandmother come true when Sandy and her husband Harry
return from Canada?
